How is an alert email or phone message sent?

This can be set up by your system admin. Our alert ‘grid’ method allows up to 168 different alert paths (24 hours x 7 days) either by user group (lab group, pharmacy group, etc., each of whom will have different alert recipients), or by individual equipment (for example, a critical equipment may have its own alert path).
